Activities abound in the area, so do as little or as much as you desire on your mountain get-away. Within the county are hundreds of waterfalls and outdoor activites. Enjoy the charming surrounding mountain towns, amaing views, natural forests & wildlife, or any of the special sites and actvities such as: Pisgah National Forest, Cradle of Forestry, Dupont State Forest, Appalachian Trail, Sliding Rock Carl Sandburg Home, Flat Rock Playhouse, Brevard Music Center, Biltmore Estate, or local activites of Brevard, Hendersonville, or Asheville.

If you prefer the quieter, natural activities of the retreat, take a hike on the mountaintop trail, play a game of horseshoes, admire the view from the gazebo, lounge on your cabin porch or decks, soak in the Garden Juccuzzi Tub, have an evening fire in the Sacred Circle Fire Pit, view the heavens at night from your cabin telescope. Maybe you'd prefer the challenge of games in the lower level game room or picking out a tune on the cabin's melody harp. If you so desire, you could even build your own log cabin with the Lincoln Logs in the game room.
