And while you're here, there's no better place to stay than the
Villa Dallavalle: 'Home of the People of the Valley'.

'Home' is a word that well describes the feeling you'll find in each
and every corner of this historic Bed & Breakfast Inn.
And the reason is really quite simple;
Gerald Swanson, owner and proprietor of this local landmark,
is a native son of Silverton and his family has lived here
almost as long as there has been a town.

To compliment its historical ambiance, Villa Dallavalle offers its guests
a buffet breakfast in addition to first class accommodations.
All rooms include private baths, television, telephones, and
magnificent views of surrounding mountains.
Our guests are invited to gather in the comfortable lobby
and enjoy an evening libation while being occasionally regaled with
local folklore as told by Silverton's Gerald Swanson.

Villa Dallavalle Inn is also a wonderful, year-round location for
family reunions, wedding gatherings, business retreats and other
group events. We offer a full kitchen and dining area
for your convenience. Just ask us!

Villa Dallavalle Inn is located on 'Notorious Blair Street,'
just steps from local shops and restaurants, and
only one-half block from the terminus of the
Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad.
The spectacular surroundings of Silverton and
the San Juan Mountains offer plenty of excitement
for your family in Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter!

Our rooms are warm and welcoming, combining Victorian tradition with the comfort of home. Each room reflects Silverton's fascinating history in its own unique way, enhanced by photos, art and other memorabilia.
Every traveler deserves a bit of luxury, and at the Villa Dallavalle, you'll feel pampered without 'breaking the bank'. We know you look for comfort, value and convenience when you travel, and you'll find all that and more when you stay with us. Don't miss our brand-new hot tub, just what the doctor ordered to smooth away the exertion of a day on the slopes or the trail.
In the summer season, step into our lovely side yard and pull up your own patch of shade (or sun!) at a picnic table or under an umbrella. Our own Swanee's Sluice offers food & drink, sluicing fun for all ages, and and the delightful scent of lilac when the season is right. If winter has graced the valley, you will find alpine skiing & snowboarding for all ages and ability levels at three ski areas between 1/2 mile, 6 miles and 20 miles of our doorstep.
