Villa Pelicano, a spacious 3 bedroom 3 bath 2800 sq. ft.home sits in a very private area of Ixtapa: Colina De Las Colandrias, Club De Golf; Ixtapa, Gr; C.P. 50880-Cr-40887.
The home has two living rooms one down and one up in addition to the office/den/TV room on the 1st floor . The bed rooms are large and spacious each with their own storage area. The master Bed room has a private bath and walk-in closet , a large Palapa covered terrace with hammock. The home sits on a tree covered lot in an area of upscale homes near the Club De Golf .
There is a little store/tienda and a nicely maintained park nearby. The down town area is about a 10 to 15 minute walk or a 5 minute taxi ride. Taxis are cheap and reliable.
The large white sand beach in Ixtapa is Playa Palmar a short 5 min taxi ride away. Playa Linda and Playa Larga are also near by as is the beautiful Isla Ixtapa where the snorkeling is fantastic. You can choose to go to town to shop, beach or dine or stay home to enjoy the pool and spa and relax in this well equipped home.
The area is safe and quiet with a friendly atmosphere, and has moderately priced restaurants and entertainment a quick taxi trip away or a healthy 10 to 15 minutes walk. We are only 20 minutes from the airport and only five minutes from Zihuatanejo where you can enjoy a large selection of dining, recreation,shopping and more beautiful beaches.
Villa Pelicano provides daily maid service which includes bed making, kitchen cleaning and floors.
We can provide you with information on taxis, buses, excursions and restaurants in Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. We have a local property manager (Rey) available in Ixtapa by phone. He is very helpful and speaks both English and Spanish.
