Completely furnished, the cozy 2-bedroom /1-bath cottage has an additional, spacious loft, (cottage sleeps 6),full kitchen with all the necessities, cathedral ceilings, deck, and lovely fieldstone fireplace. Only minutes to downtown Bar Harbor and beautiful Eagle Lake. And just outside your door - breathtaking Acadia National Park. Other conveniences include a locked laundry room just steps outside the door, weekly cleaning service, and located on a private road with no through traffic. Within walking distance; the Island Explorer shuttle route. We're also pet friendly.Note: Pets require additional fee.
The cottage is located on a mountaintop, not a cliff. There is a sloping back yard from the deck which allows for access to the fire pit, blueberry picking, and incredible, relaxing sunset views.

Private road with no through traffic.Kitchen includes refrigerator with freezer, microwave, stove top range, coffee maker, toaster. Charcoal grill. Electric heat in every room, and fireplace for cool spring and fall days. TV, with DVD, receives local channels, CD player, alarm clock. Cell phone reception. Lots of safe space for kids to explore (kids love it!). Boarders Acadia National Park and access to trail heads. Don't miss our spectacular sunsets... or the Milky Way star show! Pets welcomed. There are endless activities at your disposal from Sunset Point cottage. Located 10 minutes from down town Bar Harbor and 2-3 minutes from Acadia National Park entrance and 2-3 minute drive to scenic Eagle lake. Walk, Hike, sight see, go to famous Sand Beach or Eagle Lake for an afternoon taking in the sun and surf or quietness of the lake. Restaurants are plentiful and vary from romantic to family style.
The view of the sunset from the privacy of the cottage deck is the highlight after a busy day exploring the park. You won't want to miss it!
