Our apartment Crispi Marble Luxury is located in Via Crispi which is just around the corner from Piazza di Spagna. People of all ages and nationalities gather around the beautiful fountain of Piazza di Spagna and sit on the Spanish Steps, which link the square with Trinità de' Monti. This picturesque church overlooks Piazza di Spagna and you will surely be overwhelmed by the sight when in spring the steps are decorated with flowers to celebrate the end of the winter!Most famous and exclusive Italian as well as international designers: from Bulgari to Cartier, Valentino, Prada and Versace, are represented with their stores in and around Via Condotti, just a few steps away.For those seeking more budgetable shopping, Via del Corso (which starts on Piazza del Popolo and ends on Piazza Venezia, both in walking distance from the apartment) is a favorite for Romans and visitors alike when it comes to clothing, shoes and accessories.Close to this exclusive location you will find some of the most famous monuments, squares and streets of Rome: Piazza del Popolo, Via del Corso, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, Piazza Venezia, the Capitol, the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, Villa Borghese, Villa Medici and Via Veneto. Within minutes and you can reach the Pincio, the fantastic terrace on top of the Borghese Gardens from where you have a marvelous view over Rome.
As for public transportation, the Spagna Metro stop (Line A) and the Barberini Metro stop (Line A) are in short distance from the apartment, and there are several minibuses (117 & 119) that run through the historic center. If you are arriving by car you have 2 parking facilities: Parking Ludovisi in Via Crispi or parkSì in Villa Borghese. Taxi stands and bus stops are nearby.
In April 2008 the apartment was completely renovated and modernized by a Roman architect. The living area has 120 square meters with an inviting generously styled entrance and a leisure corner.The living room is spacious and is divided into a dining area. The furniture has been specially designed and offers exceptional comfort. Of course, you have entertainment devices such as a LCD TV with SAT-connection for various channels, a DVD Player and a CD/Radio player as well as air conditioning in all the rooms and WiFi fast connection to the Internet. There are 3 bedrooms and a studio leading to a small balcony so that up to 8 persons can comfortably reside. The apartment has two spacious bathrooms, one with a Jacuzzi-tub. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, coffee-/espresso machine, gas stove with oven, fridge/freezer unit, toaster, hot water boiler as well as all the other necessary appliances.Towels and bed linens are available.

It's hard to say what you'll find most breathtaking about the Eternal City - the arrogant opulence of the Vatican, the timelessness of the Forum, the top speed of a Fiat Bambino, the gory resonance of the Colosseum, trying to cross a major intersection, or the bill for your caffe latte.
Make like the locals and souse your senses in the glut of pleasures the city has to offer, from the grandiose thrill of feeling centuries of turbulent history under your feet to the small but potent intoxication of eating chestnut gelato on a hot day.
Sightseeing in Rome is exhilarating and exhausting. That it wasn't built in a day is quickly evident when you start exploring the temples, residences, basilicas, churches, palazzi, piazzi, parks, museums and fountains. All this and the Vatican too!

Catch your breath over a leisurely lunch around Piazza Navona. Pass by the Pantheon before exploring the Roman Forum and Colosseum in the afternoon. Make a night of it in lively and atmospheric Trastevere.
Spend a morning at the market in Campo dé Fiori and the Capitoline Museums. Let the ancient wonders at Palazzo Massimo alle Terme captivate you, before plumbing Rome's multilayered history at the San Clemente Basilica. Wander through Villa Borghese and visit the magnificent, and hopefully prebooked, Galleria Borghese. Or get some retail action at the swish designer stores around Via Condotti. Naturally, spend your evenings on a passeggiata (stroll) - with gelato - from Piazza di Spagna to the Trevi Fountain. Check out 'Il Campo' for fun after dark, or stay out far later than you should in Testaccio.
A Top Day in RomeVowing never to touch a bottle of wine for at least another five hours I emerge onto the noisy and painfully bright streets in search of sugar-laced caffeine. I find a bar and wolf down an espresso before heading off to the Museo e Galleria Borghese. I've booked my ticket and before long I'm standing before a Bernini sculpture wondering how he made such hard, grey marble seem so soft. Not being a Baroque genius I give up and move on to the Caravaggios. Sated on art my thoughts turn to lunch. I know a good, old-fashioned trattoria near the Pantheon where you can get great pasta and a very drinkable house.
