Our luxurious lodge overlooks the Clark Fork River, providing some spectacular river scenery. We are surrounded by hundreds of acres of forest with trails for secluded walking and riding. Osprey and eagles nest along the river, often soaring overhead or diving to the river for a dinner of fresh trout. Deer visit daily and occasionally elk or moose drop by to look around. This unique place is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the wildlife.

The Clark Fork River Ranch is only a few minutes from I-90 and within easy reach of major airports in Missoula or Spokane. With private access to the Clark Fork River and many ski resorts nearby, our location is perfect for those in search of the best that Western Montana has to offer. You can also enjoy the wide variety of nearby locations well worth visiting: Flathead Lake, the National Bison Range, Glacier National Park, and dozens of mountain lakes, streams, and golf courses.

Our lodge is located 40 miles from Missoula, at the Tarkio Exit, about 5 miles off of I-90 on the Clark Fork River. There is excellent fishing on our property and on the river above and below us. The Alberton Gorge is a very popular whitewater stretch that ends just above our place. The section of river below us is perfect for canoeing or tubing. We are surrounded by state and national forest lands, and there are numerous trails for hiking, horseback riding, or even snowshoeing in the winter. Our beach is the ultimate swimming hole or the pefect place for an afternoon nap. But above all else, the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful scenery is the highlight of all these activities.
