Calling all avid Fishermen and Fisherwomen. Come and get-away for a week (or two) at this cozy duplex located in the quaint little town of Atikokan, Ontario.
This house is the perfect retreat for a family with small children or adults who want to get away and vacation together. A beautiful view off in the distance of Atikokans Golf Course can be seen from the backyard,along with a nice walking trail that follows the Atikokan river with a foot bridge over looking the picturesque water falls.
If you need a break from the Lake, why not try some of the towns cozy little restaurants.
A better location for summertime fishing cannot be found. We are conveniently located between many lakes for the most productive fishing around. Walleye, Bass, Northern and crappies can be caught in large numbers throughout the year.

Atikokan is an old iron and gold mining town. There is a lot of history in this town. Check out the mine museum. See the old pictures of mining through out the town, or take a scenic drive around steep rock pit. The views are awesome.

Just a quick note to let you know how much we enjoy staying at your duplex, it is in a very convienient location, being so close to all the stores. We had no problem with feeling crowded as the place in so large, also it was very helpful having a washer and dryer available. So thanks again for everything and we will be in touch soon as we are thinking we will be back in August. Take care, Jodie
