Off of M-109, between Glen Arbor and Glen Haven in Leelanau County, Michigan. 28 Miles from Traverse City and approximately 35 miles from the Cherry Capital Airport. We are 5 miles from Camps Leelanau and Kohahna, and minutes from the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Minutes from downhill skiing at the Homestead, Timberlee in Traverse City, Crystal Mountain. Snowshoe the National Park out our back door!

BEACHSIDE COTTAGE Has it All!

This quaint cottage has two floors with a 3/4 bath and two bedrooms above--a full bed in one and a two twins in the other. Stall shower. *Note: steep 10 stairs (8 is standard).

Downstairs, iyou have one bedroom with a queen sized bed, a utility room with washer/dryer, (summers only) a full bath, kitchen with diswasher, dining area, living room, screened in porch on the lake side, lakeside attached deck. Piano. Lawn and gardens behind and woods behind that.

Heated gas fireplace insert--romantic, lovely, easy. Additional baseboard heating if needed. Air conditioned. Comfortably sleeps 7. Office/laundry room is carpeted and can house your port-o-crib for Baby, or roll the porch bed inside to this room (summers only).

The drive is approximately 4 1/2 hours from the Detroit area, and 6 hours from Chicago.

Day Drives include Petoskey and Harbor Springs, north of Traverse City, and Mackinac Island, home of the movie Somewhere in Time. Beulah, Frankfort and Benzonia are a fun daytrip. We can furnish you with more information on things to do and see in the area upon request.

Centered at the middle of the bay's beach, you look to the left and see the dunes. Turn right and see Pyramid Point, the tip of the eastern arm of the bay, home of Camp Leelanau for Boys and Camp Kohahna for Girls. The shoreline is 150 feet in front of the cottage, the blue and white beautiful Manitou Islands are 8 and 10 miles straight out.
