Our 2-story cottage style house in Seneca Rocks is located off 220, North of Upper Tract, in a private setting on 3 wooded acres adjoining the Monongahela national Forest. And is the perfect setting for a family vacation, romantic getaway or a retreat with your buddies. The South branch of the Potomac river is close by and is noted as one of the best trout streams. Our Upper Tract Cottage is the perfect location from which to explore the entire area. If you are interested in hunting for your pastime, deer, and turkey are plentiful in the area. And we also have the occasional bear seen.

Other activities include hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, and auctions and antiquing. For the sightseers there are many areas to explore just minutes from our vacation rental home in Seneca Rocks. Only minutes from the Smoke Hole canyon, Smoke Hole caverns. Spruce Knob, Seneca Rocks, Seneca Caverns Dolly Sods and Blackwater falls. And within a couple hours one could be riding on the Cass Scenic Railroad or checking out the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in Greenbank. Or if all this seems too hectic, simply sit back on the deck chairs with a good book or magazine until the stars comes out and enjoy the sounds of mother nature.
