Set on the banks of the historical Yellow Breeches Creek the Creek Cottage was originally built as a one bedroom fishing cottage in the 1930's, it was doubled in size in the 1960's and has recently undergone extensive renovations.

Located in the quaint little town of Boiling Springs, PA the Creek Cottage is an American's dream vacation home. Only a two hour drive outside of DC, this picturesque water-front home resides in one of America's oldest towns which in 1984 was listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

There is a large meadow with adjoining farm fields behind the cottage and a deck straddling the creek in the front; a canoe and paddle boat available for relaxing rides on the creek.

The Cottage consists of a modern updated kitchen that opens onto a large great room with a imposing Pennsylvania grey stone fireplace, an entertainment center, a dinning area and two French doors that open onto the back yard and the Yellow Breeches creek.

The adjoining master bedroom has a king sized bed and a new en suit bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub. Additional rooms on the first floor include a full bathroom with bathtub and a cozy bedroom with a single bed. The utility room provides a washer and dryer to take care of any needed laundry through out your stay.

The finished upper level consists of a spacious sitting room (with views of the creek) furnished with a large futon, a roll top desk and a TV.

The house is kept comfortably cool by a central A/C system on the first floor and two AC window units on the upper floor. Central heat and the large field stone wood burning fireplace (with a built in heat exhaust system) keeps the cottage toasty and warm on cold fall evenings and beautiful winter nights.
