Blue Sky has had a uniquely different concept since its inception. The entire villa has been built with simple affordable luxury in mind. All of our rooms are exquisitely appointed with one-of-a-kind pieces of art - from the original oil painting imported from Cuba, to the hand-blown vases on marble top tables, to the silver inlaid full-length mirrors and the hand-crafted lamps. Even the light fixtures are handmade and something one would normally find in a private luxury home.

All the beds are Sealy mattresses with Guatemalan bedspreads. A different Mayan hand-carved relief is above every bed. The outdoor chairs on the expansive terraces are originals made from the hardwood of the Chiching tree.

Small restaurant on site - open breakfast and dinner. The open air dining room is covered by a Mayan palapa roof and is equipped with a US Coast Guard approved mosquito exterminator.

Such amenities as wireless Internet make contact with the outside world at least an available option. All the rooms are ocean view with private terraces overlooking a turquoise sea.

An added bonus is the cenote, a freshwater natural pool, is adjacent to the hotel. The cenote is always cool and fresh and is perfect for swimming and snorkeling. If the cenote is not enough, then head for your private beach on white coral sands. A unique feature of coral sands is that it reflects sunlight, consequently it is always cool, even in the heat of the day.

Blue Sky is located approximately 70 miles south of Cancun. After flying into the airport, car rentals are available. For a reasonable fee, we can send a private van and driver to pick you up at the airport and bring you directly to the hotel.

Blue Sky is on the second largest reef in the world and is perfect for diving and snorkeling. The famous Tulum Ruins are only 15 minutes away. These are only one of a number of ruins a short distance away. You can be as active as you want or relax in timeless freedom along your private beach. Blue Sky Resort has 2 Master Suites, 2 Junior Suites and 2 Standard rooms. All rooms are beach front with expansive ocean views, private terraces, beautiful artwork and furnishings. Fold out sofa's are custom made for pure comfort like a futon. We have daily maid service, on sight security and laundry service is available.
