Our cottage is in Pripet, near Point Comfort Road, eight miles from the ferry dock. It sits on about seven acres of land with frontage on East Penobscot Bay.

The main house was built in the 19th century, with an addition dating to the mid-20th century. We have added a spacious deck which overlooks woods and fields and provides distant views of the bay.

Inside the house are three bedrooms and two baths. The large, fully-equipped kitchen has an electric range and a washer and dryer. We also have a dining room, a living room, and a den with a woodstove and sliding glass doors leading to the deck. There is also a south cottage containing two more bedrooms.

For cook-outs, we provide a gas-fired grill.

We rent our Islesboro cottage from Sunday to Sunday for $1000 per week during July and August. Off season we rent for $750 per week. We ask our guests to arrive after noon on their first Sunday, and to leave by noon on their last Sunday. We provide all linens, towels, etc. Your rent includes all utilities, including wood for the woodstove. We do ask that you pay us for long distance phone calls. We also ask that you vacuum, wash and dry your linens, and generally leave the house as you find it. No smoking in the house, and pets by special arrangement only. In order to reserve a week, we need to receive 50% of your rental fee. The remaining rent must be paid prior to your rental week.
