Tranquility Cottage is a spacious three-bedroom shingle cottage surrounded by woods on the quiet side of Mt. Desert Island. Every effort has been made to provide visitors with a comfortable and relaxing vacation.The house features a wrap-around deck with grill, comfortable seating, and picnic table. Inside, the first floor has a spacious floor plan with living room, dining room, well-equipped kitchen, and laundry room;. At the rear are the large year-round sun porch and the master bedroom with en suite full bath. The second floor features two wood-paneled skylit bedrooms, a cozy rainy day reading and game room, and full bath with shower. Luxurious towels, bed linens, and soaps are provided. Guests can pick blueberries alongside the deck or stroll into the village to visit the town dock or lobster pound. A secluded beach is just a short walk away. Acadia National Park, with all its natural beauty, is right nearby. Tranquility Cottage is the perfect place to come home to after a day of experiencing all Mt. Desert Island has to offer.
