The first floor of the Casa Mariposa has a the large master bedroom with custom tiled bath, queen size bed and patio overlooking the garden and fountain. Also there is a second bedroom/sitting room with a futon. All bedrooms include luxury linens for your sleeping comfort. The downstairs living area includes a dining area and living room with a TV with DVD, CD player and stereo. The floors of the casa have polish concrete and unique tiled floors throughout and two kitchens with everything you might need to prepare gourmet meals.

On the second floor up the tiled staircase, you will find another comfortable living area. The second master bedroom has a queen size bed and beautiful tiled bath. The upstairs also has a second bedroom with a half bath that can be used as a sitting room, office or bedroom. The second level with a full kitchen living/dining area has a breathtaking view of the new La Cruz Marina and Bay of Banderas with the majestic Sierra Madre Mountains in the background. The third level is a palapa covered deck that is perfect for relaxing, reading and soaking the view and sun. The Casa is walled and gated for your privacy and security. IT IS A PERFECT PLACE TO RELAX.

You can relax on one of 3 patios, out in the first floor tropical garden, see the great views of the bay and the sailboats heading to and from the marina, while you sit back and experience the cool, ocean breezes. The local beaches and village are a delightful five minute stroll. Maid service is provided twice a week with towels changed when needed. Additional maid service may be arranged through our property manager for a small fee.

The garden is breathtaking with many tropical flowers. You can even pick your own banana from our multiple plants.

The small sleepy village of La Cruz de Huanacaxtle is approximately 15 miles north from Vallarta and the international airport. The house is in short walking distance to everything La Cruz has to offer. Shop for groceries, browse the marina, or choose between the wide variety of delicious restaurants. If you feel like leaving this lazy, quiet oasis; it's only a 20 minute ride by bus or taxi to downtown Puerto Vallarta. A taxi stand is conveniently located only 1/2 block from the house.

The local beaches and village are a delightful five minute stroll. The aqua lagoons and coral-sand surfing beaches of the Bahia de Banderas coastline can be viewed on route to Punta de Mita or Sayulita, within 15 minutes from the Casa.
