As a district which was built to house the nobility of the kings of France, the architecture of the hotels particuliers is breathtaking. These structures stand in juxtaposition with exciting boutiques, art galleries, cafes, bars and restaurants. As the most "in" section in Paris, don't be surprised to find journalists, models, photographers and celebrities rubbing elbows with you as you stroll through the quartier.

The apartment is completely renovated with modern appliances and fixtures.
The high ceilings are set off by the beautiful, original wooden beams that add character to the apartment These eighteenth century beams are real and support the roof of the building. Make sure you look for the carvings in the beams and the original wooden nails used in the 18th century. Blond parquet floors compliment the combined living/dining area, master bedroom and mezzanine (above the kitchen). A modern bathroom in blue and white tile contains a spacious shower and bright, sunny windows. A well equipped kitchen features Portuguese tile floors and countertops, a four eye electric stove top, coffee maker, a small refrigerator with freezer section, and a countertop oven for warming and baking.
The sleeping facilities include:
- a nice master bedroom
- a brand new convertible couch (sleeps 1 or 2 people)
- a mezzanine with a twin size mattress, acting as a 2nd bedroom
NB: I also manage a little studio in the same building, 2 floors below, which can act as an "extra bedroom" to host 1 or 2 more people travelling with y
