I would just like to leave a quick review about our wonderful 10th anniversary spent in the waterside studio at Banana Bay. The resort was everything we expected and more. Immaculately clean, with some other really nice people staying there, we made great friends. The pool was heated, and we certainly enjoyed the private dock right on the waters edge. Very romantic, and we will not forget how enjoyable our stay was there.

Stayed here for a month in January, and enjoyed every minute of it. Accommodation was all brand new, and spotlessly clean, along with brilliant location, and lots of free facilities. When i viewed their website, they said the fish jumped in the Heron Lagoon, that Banana Bay is located on, and i mean right on it! AND the fish really did jump! My husband fished right off their dock with the FREE fishing poles they had, then somedays he went out on their free boats to fish right up and down the lagoon, he just loved it, and so did i, just lazing around the pool watching the wildlife. We even had a Christmas tree in our apartment, with lights and decoarations, the whole resort was prettily lit with lights and red bows, not tacky and OTT. The new owners are renovating the property throughout, and they were telling me thier great plans. They are really pulling all the stops out for their guests, not like other places i have stayed at on Siesta Key. Not naming anywhere in particular... I hope my review has confirmed any hesitations you might have about staying at banana bay. Please go and see for yourself, just dont book that studio apartment out i stayed in, located right on the lagoon the month i want it next year!! or else!!
