This charming Queen Anne Victorian style duplex is situated behind our 140 year old home, one of Santa Barbara's oldest Victorians, which was built in the mid 1800's. We restored the Santa Barbara house in 1998.
Completed in 2001 in the same style as the main house, the duplex boasts a tower, complete with witches cap.
Features include hand-inlaid wood floors, a bay window/window-seat, and a fireplace in the living room.
The covered deck of the 'B' Unit is cozily ensconced in the tower creating a wonderful outdoor room. Situated just off the kitchen, the deck can become a private retreat for morning coffee, an outdoor room that's just perfect for a luncheon, a bridge game, an intimate candlelit dinner, or a nightcap.
The 'A' unit's open air deck a perfect place for relaxing, sunbathing, or entertaining. We've seen wedding blessings, breakfasts, and barbeques on it.
Each Santa Barbara rental unit has 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths upstairs and living area down with sleeping capacity for up to 6. There is a king bed in the master; and twin beds in the second bedroom. The living room couch is a futon that can be made into a double bed. The two bedrooms are upstairs and have cathedral ceilings.

Deposits
Refundable damage deposit is 1/2 the rent or $350, whichever is greater. The portion of the Deposit(s) not required to offset any damages, (financial or physical) normal wear and tear excepted, will be refunded within 14 days of departure. Refundable Pet deposit: $250/small to medium dog. Limit 2 pets. Sorry we do not accept cats due to their allergenicity.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, Lessor reserves the right to retain any or all of the Rental Fees and the Deposit(s) Paid To Date as Consideration for inconvenience and loss of opportunity. In the event of cancellation due to a verified emergency, Lessor will attempt to re-rent the unit. If successful all moneys paid will be refunded less a $95.00 re-booking fee.
& Taxes
City Tax on the rent is 12%. Cleaning fee is $125.
