Our condo is across the street from the Beach on A1A-near A1A and Las Olas Blvd, and directly across the street from Mariott Beach Place (hotel, shops, restaurants, wave runner rental, newspapers,coffee,etcÂ….) and located on the intracoastal. We like our location because we are at the 'bow tie' with respect to the shortest distance between the intracoastal and the Ocean. We are approximately 1 minute to the beach and 2 minutes to the Mariott Beach Place which has stores, restaurants and much more, The Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk is about a 5 minute car ride away if the bridges are not up and

...the downtown Ft. Lauderdale Las Olas shops are minutes away.The building is quiet, has a dock next to our pool that overlooks the intracoastal from which we fish and is walking distance to shops, restaurants, and much more .The owners are largely senior citizen and the building is safe and clean. The water taxi can pick you up at the building or you can walk to most anything. Cabs and buses are also available. We are approximately 15 minutes from the Airport and often don't rent a car when we visit. Our unit is on the first floor and is fully furnished. The building has 30 units and reserved parking for renters and owners. The pool is heated and is 40 feet from our unit. There is a gas grill that overlooks the Intracoastal and is available for use. Our building does not allow pets and our unit is a no smoking unit. Our unit is air conditioned and was recently redone with a new kitchen and bath. We have ceramic tile throughout, 2 TV's with 2 VCR's,a breakfast counter area, a dinning room table, ceramic shower and tub,a very large closet, and ceiling fans in every room. Mariott Beach Place is across the street, Las Olas Shops are minutes away, the Swimming Hall of Fame is 5 minute walk from our building, on the IntraCoastal, 1/2 block to Ocean Fort Lauderdale is a mecca for snorklers and divers who come to explore the three-tiered natural reef, hoping to encounter angelfish and other species. Fort Lauderdale is known as The Venice of America/" has over 300 miles of navigable inland waterways and canals. Other aquatic attractions include 23 miles of beautiful sandy beach, 81 artificial reefs, 18 major shipwrecks, a water taxi, a winding downtown riverwalk and a sunny beach boardwalk. The city of Fort Lauderdale is located just north of Miami, between Miami Beach and West Palm Beach. Scuba divers rate the area as one of the best in North America. The beach at Fort Lauderdale is lined with upscale shops and restaurants, while downtown has a village type atmosphere with its many trendy boutiques, cafes and jazz bands. Over 50 golf courses dot the landscape in Greater Fort Lauderdale, including many championship links. All types of fishing are available including bottom or drift-boat fishing, deep-sea charters or simply dropping a line off our pier. If you tire of outdoor sports, there are many other things to see and do in Fort Lauderdale. Visit the enchanting Butterfly Park, the Center for Performing Arts, the Museum of Art, one of the two children's theaters, the Big Cypress Swamp or Fern Forest Nature Center.
