At Napping Turtle, nothing stands between you and the blue Atlantic but soft sands and gorgeous natural dunes. Wake to the sounds of sea birds fishing for their breakfast in the surf, and drift off to sleep to the murmur of the waves. The sunrise seems to happen right outside your window here, and marine life from dolphins to manatees can be spotted swimming past. It's a little piece of paradise between Jacksonville and St. Augustine, ideal for a beach vacation but also great for golf, sightseeing, shopping, and fine dining. There's something for everyone on our little strip of the coast!
The family room on the ground offers breathtaking ocean views, soaring ceilings, direct access to the deck, a stone fireplace, and an HDTV -- not to mention ultra-comfortable couches! The cool tiled floor here feels so good when you come in barefoot from the beach, and the ceiling fan adds a fresh breeze to the air-conditioned comfort. Ah, this is the way to relax!
The dining area is adjacent to the living room, right beside French doors leading out to the deck. Indoors or out, it's a great way to start the day: a cup of coffee, a book or your phone (you have free wireless Internet at Napping Turtle, so you can keep your Facebook status updated!), and the vast horizon in front of you, full of possibilities!
The kitchen offers terrific ocean views too, not to mention state-of-the-art stainless-steel appliances, smooth countertops, and a breakfast bar set with high stools. You're just steps from the oceanfront balcony here, so throw open the French doors as you cook and enjoy the salty breeze!
You'll find the kitchen stocked with all the cookware, utensils, and dishes you could ask for -- your only contribution is groceries! No emergency trips to the store to pick up plastic cups or a can-opener; everything is waiting for you here.
When it's time to retire for the night, everyone will be pleased with their bedroom. Napping Turtle has 3 bedrooms plus a bonus room containing a single bed with a trundle, so there's plenty of space to sleep 10. This arrangement is perfect for 2 families traveling together, or a big group of friends.
The master bedroom overlooks the ocean, with a luxurious queen-sized bed and a TV, plus an en-suite bath with both shower and tub option. A set of French doors leads out onto the balcony, opening the entire room to the glorious outdoors. You're going to love it here!
The second bedroom also contains a queen-sized bed, while the third has 2 queens. This third bedroom is a great place for the kids to all club in together, with their own TV and balcony access. Give the room over to blanket tunnels and pillow thrones, and the children will love being indoors almost as much as they do the beach!
A second bathroom is convenient to the other bedrooms, and a laundry room with full-sized washer and dryer keeps all those swimsuits and beach towels fresh. We provide all the linens and towels you need for every bed and bath at Napping Turtle, along with plenty of pillows and blankets. Come as you are and prepare to have the time of your life!
A boardwalk leads directly from Napping Turtle over the dunes and onto the warm sands of South Ponte Vedra Beach. You'll feel as though you're on our own private beach as you stroll the sands. This is a great beach for anything from boogie-boarding to sandcastle-building to bocce-ball playing, and the whole group will enjoy it.

Vacation Rental Pros manages over 400 rentals in Florida and will work hard towards your full satisfaction. Your credit card will be charged $300 towards the reservation, and then you will be emailed a contract. Guest has 48 hours upon receiving our contract to contact us and cancel the reservation without penalty.
