Nick's Hideaway is delightfully secluded among tropical greenery, a house on stilts with a shaded patio below and a big private yard out back. This is a great place for children, because it's well off the road and wonderfully private. Yet historic downtown St. Augustine is just a few minutes away by car, and major Florida attractions are all within an easy distance!
Step up to Nick's Hideaway and you will be immediately drawn to the big deck, with its breathtaking view of the Intracoastal. This is the place to be at sunset! You'll love the birds that wheel over the Waterway all day long, and the sight of the placid inlet. Take a good book out here one morning and we predict the day will fly by in utter relaxation!
Come inside from the deck and you are in our open, light-filled living room, with windows lining two walls (the second wall overlooks the big backyard). An ultra-comfortable couch and chairs make this the place to be for long evenings at home. And our TV with VCR and DVD player keep the group entertained after a full day on the boat or the sand. Stretch out, cool down, and unwind!
A big dining table stands beside this room, seating 4 easily and 6 in a pinch. You'll probably want to take your meals out on the deck or down at the patio table in the shade, so make this your game or computer table. You have free wireless Internet at Nick's Hideaway, so you can stay as connected as you like.
The kitchen at this house is compact and convenient, with a big table doing duty for counter space and all the appliances and gadgets you need just waiting for you. We've stocked it completely with cookware, dishes, and utensils -- don't worry about bringing an emergency can opener or stopping at the store for paper plates and cups! All you add is groceries, and you're fixed up to prepare homemade feasts. (Of course, if eating out is on the menu, the microwave works just fine for leftovers, too!)
The living and dining area of Nick's Hideaway is open and friendly, keeping the group together. But when it's time to sleep, you want privacy and quiet, and that's just what you'll find in the 2 bedrooms here.
The master bedroom offers a queen-sized bed below a window just right for stargazing. And the second bedroom has 2 twin beds with another good-sized window and a lamp for late-night reading. Comfortable and calming, these rooms will help ensure that everyone gets a great night's sleep and is ready for the next adventure!
You'll find all the linens, blankets, and pillows you need for all 3 beds at Nick's Hideaway waiting for you here, as well as the towel sets for our bathroom. And to keep everything fresh and clean (including your swimming and fishing duds!), our washer and dryer are at your disposal. Come as you are, and don't worry about overpacking -- this house is small but very well equipped, and you'll find everything you need here!
The backyard is large and fenced here, perfect for a pick-up game of soccer, the kids' bikes and scooters, and a twilight game of Ghost Tag! At Nick's Hideaway you'll find all the space you need for the little ones to run around and the big ones to feel pleasantly away from the hustle and crowds of everyday life. From our deck you'll hear the birds singing, watch boats sailing by, and generally get in touch with the slower rhythms of life on Anastasia Island. There's no better stress-buster!
You're going to love Crescent Beach, too. It's one of the best beaches in Florida, a family-friendly spot with white sands, plenty of shells and sharks' teeth revealed with every low tide, and rolling waves. The surf is a great alternative to the quieter waters of the Intracoastal . . . and the fishing's not bad, either!

Your credit card will be charged $300 towards the reservation, and then you will be emailed a contract.
