Industrial style chrome bannisters, steel art deco lights and fragments of unfinished bricks set the tone throughout. There are minimalist touches of elegant white décor in each bedroom and the bathrooms boast plenty of cupboard space, large showers and square sinks, asserting that clean modern lines complement this unique living space. The Metropolis feels like a natural extension of the surrounding beauty and floor-to-wall windows encompass the whole apartment.
Step into the Cape Town Penthouse and you’re overwhelmed with natural light and the gentle flow of the open-plan living space from the kitchen to the lounge/dining area. The vistas of Cape Town swallow you from the moment you set foot inside this luxury space. On your left of the entrance is a contemporary kitchen furnished with a work island and all modern amenities. Accents of steel and splashes of silver in the kitchen greatly contrast the otherwise clean interior. There are inviting views of Signal Hill and Table Mountain from the kitchen area.
The lounge and dining area has a flat-screen TV, a subtle chocolate L-shaped couch and a glass dining table. Sweeping views of the VA Waterfront’s yacht basin, the World Cup stadium can be enjoyed from the balcony. There are electric blinds on all of the balcony doors and plenty of space for relaxation.
Tucked around the corner from the open-plan living area is a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. Colourful artwork on the brick wall adds charm and character to the room. With the same views as that of the lounge/dining area and housing a small section of the balcony, it’s perfectly placed for privacy.
The two other bedrooms are upstairs on the second level which is accessed via a narrow, curvaceous staircase. The master bedroom sits directly above the lounge and bedroom area on the first floor. The room is connected to its en-suite bathroom via a small corridor which looks down into the living area. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a small, double bedroom with crisp white linen, an en suite bathroom and balcony with views. A narrow stairwell leads up to the roof terrace which is ideal for capturing the sun.
Cape Town Penthouse certainly straddles two worlds – city slicker and tranquil living.
It is not ideal for children and guests who battle with stairs. Located in De Waterkant, it is within walking distance of Cape Quarter mall, outdoor cafes, restaurants and the bustling Somerset Road. It is about a 10 minute drive to the beaches of the Atlantic Seaboard and 5 minutes from Cape Town central.

Please contact us if we can help in any way. We arrange airport transfers, car hire, tours, restaurant bookings or anything else to make your stay with us enjoyable. Also let us know of any particular requirements such as cots and high chairs for infants. We can also happily pre-stock your apartment with food and drinks on your behalf. If you will be celebrating a special occasion during your stay such as a birthday, anniversary or honeymoon, please let us know so that we can make that extra effort on your special day.
Arrival and Departure
Check-in time is between 14h00 and 18h00 unless otherwise arranged. Check-out time is before 11h00 on the day of departure. We try to accommodate other arrival and departure times, so if you have any special requests please let us know. Please contact 45 minutes prior to your arrival at the property on +27 21 438 6440 during office hours, or on +27 84 804 9902 after hours. Please be aware that there is an after-hours arrival charge of R300 for any arrivals between 19h00 and 7h00.
South African immigration laws require all visitors' passports to have at least two blank pages and to be valid at least six months from your planned date of departure from South Africa. The law is rigorously enforced so please check your passports without delay!

No binding contract is in force until such time as a rental deposit has been made, and the rental manager has vetted and accepted the payment and guest information, and communicated such to the client.

Bookings cancelled more than 90 days prior to arrival date pay a 10% cancellation fee.
Bookings cancelled between 90 and 61 days of arrival date pay a 25% cancellation fee.

Bookings cancelled less than 30 days from arrival date pay a 100% cancellation fee.
Refunds and waiver of cancellation policies are at the discretion of management and their ability to relet the room. We advise all clients to take out cancellation insurance.
All changes to bookings once confirmed, including moving from one property to another, or amending dates, are deemed to be cancellation of the first booking, and applicable fees must be charged.
