Description & Details of Shadow Mountain Escape - Blue Ridge Mountains
Shadow Mountain Escape (SME) is a three Timber Frame Structures located in a beautiful 'niche' of the Blue Ridge Mountains known as 'Jewell Hollow'. The primary timber frame structure is a unique duplex cabin cleverly designed with no walls shared between the two independent dwellings (one named 'Dragon Fly' and the other 'Bumble Bee'). A common observation tower with a reading room offers guests a striking view of the ridge line above SME. Two other timber frame cabins are also available for rent - one is a loft of an old style timber frame salt box barn tucked into the woods.
