The Bakubung Bush Lodge consists of a cluster of thatched, bush-style chalets nestling among trees in a valley in Pilanesberg National Park. Featuring rustic- style bamboo and dark wood furniture and African-inspired fabrics in rich, bold colours, the 76 air-conditioned chalets all have satellite television, direct-dial phones and Internet connections.
Guests can enjoy a number of onsite activities and facilities, including a natural rock-hewn swimming pool, floodlit tennis courts, outdoor chess, and volleyball, while children are kept entertained at the adventure playground. Those setting out on safari into the Pilanesberg Park can do so foot or in a game-watching vehicle, and then share their wildlife experiences around the campfire after dark. The hotel also runs a shuttle service to and from Sun City, three kilometres away, for a fee. Pilanesberg International airport is 15 kilometres and about a 15 minute drive from the hotel.
