Location. In central Pahihia in Northern New Zealand's Bay of Islands is the Pipi Patch Lodge. 50 meters from the beach and 900 meters from the wharf, the Pipi Patch Lodge allows guests to experience the natural environment on their own terms. American author Zane Grey, who was known for his writings about the wild west, which were in turn made into classic Western films, traveled to the Bay Of Islands during on a fishing expedition.
