Getting there. A free shuttle bus is available to the airport train station, which is 200 metres away from the terminal. A train runs every 30 minutes between Krakow Dworzec Glowny station and the airport from 4 a.m. to midnight. Tickets can be paid for on the train, with a single journey costing about 4 PLN and taking about 15 minutes. There are two bus services operating between the airport and Krakow city centre, leaving every 15-25 minutes and costing 3 PLN. Each piece of large luggage must have a separate ticket. All fares should be validated before boarding. Taxis wait outside the terminal and cost around 50-60 PLN to the Columbus Hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Rickshaws, horse-drawn carriages and electric carts transport visitors through Krakow's historic city centre. Much of the city centre has been pedestrianised, while buses and trams navigate everywhere else. A one-day travel pass costs 10 PLN; an adult single ticket is 2.50 PLN. A relatively economical way to get around is via taxis, which are plentiful throughout the city.
