Description & Details of Crewe Hall
Location.Crewe Hall Hotel is a 17th-century Jacobean manor house situated in the Crewe and Nantwich area of Cheshire, in its own extensive grounds and one mile from the centre of Crewe. Manchester International Airport is 32 miles away, an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.
Hotel Features.The Hall has provided hospitality on a grand scale for many leading politicians and leaders, including King George V and Queen Mary in 1913. The Hall has its own chapel and extensive grounds, and there are two bars and room service available round the clock. Business guests can use 17 meeting rooms for up to 350 people, while other practical amenities include dry cleaning services, safe-deposit boxes and complimentary parking.

The hotel offers the choice of a formal dining restaurant and a sleek contemporary brasserie. Situated in the stately surroundings of the main hall with plush furnishings and traditional carved panels, the setting of the Ranulph Restaurant is intimate and modern English and international dishes are served. Smart dress is required. In contrast the retro, modern brasserie offers a contemporary dining experience. At the centre of the restaurant is a unique revolving bar.

Crewe Hall has two floodlit hard-surface tennis courts which can be hired per hour (surcharge), as well as an indoor pool and a spa. There are a opportunities for golfing at Wychwood Park Golf Club, and horse riding and motor racing.

Guestrooms. Crewe Hall Hotel offers 65 guestrooms located on three floors, standard guestrooms have smart, modern decor and are located in the contemporary west wing connected to the main hall via a glass link, whilst executive rooms are located in the main hall and have traditional decor. Driving Directions:
Getting there.There is a frequent train service between the airport and Manchester Piccadilly station in the city centre. The hotel is one mile from Crewe train station. Taxis are available outside the Arrivals hall of each terminal, and should cost approximately 45 GBP to the hotel. The airport's bus network provides direct services to many local centres, as well as links to other towns and cities. All buses call at the airport bus station located outside Terminal One International Arrivals. The town centre is easily reached on foot. A car would be useful to get around the surrounding area.

Driving directions.From the airport leave the M6 motorway at Junction 16 and take the A500 towards Crewe. At the first roundabout take the last exit, the A5020, signposted for Crewe. At the next roundabout take the first exit, and the entrance to the hotel can be found a few hundred yards along the right-hand side.
