Getting there.</b There is a railway station at the airport, from which the S-Bahn train line 13 goes to Cologne Hauptbahnhof station. Hotel Domstern is 250 metres away, on a side street called Domstrasse. The journey is 18 minutes long and single tickets cost 2.10 EUR. Bus line 170 goes to the centre of Cologne and the Hauptbahnhof, five times an hour. Single tickets cost 5 EUR. Taxis can be caught outside Terminals 1 and 2 and should cost 30 EUR to Hotel Domstern. Getting around. The centre of Cologne can be explored on foot, with streets such as Hohe Strasse, Schildergasse, and Breite Strasse being pedestrianised, and many main attractions centred around the Altstadt on the left bank of the Rhine. Transferable tickets (VRS) can be used on the bus, tram, underground, and the RE (RegionalExpress), RB (RegionalBahn), and S-Bahn trains. Train-only tickets are also available. All ticket types can be bought at ticket vending machines, found at Cologne's train stations. At bus, underground, and tram stops, it is only possible to purchase VRS tickets. </p>
