Location. The Domus Maris is a modern, medium- rise resort hotel that is located just 100 metres from the Olhos de Agua beach and is six kilometres from the Algarve resort of Albufeira. Faro International Airport is 30 kilometres from the hotel, a 35-minute drive.
Hotel Features.The hotel has a large outdoor pool with an adjacent sun terrace and a poolside bar, and a free minibus service operates from the hotel to the centre of Albufeira four times a day. There is a 24-hour front desk and staff can provide currency exchange and arrange airport transfers (surcharge). Nearby parking is also available for those arriving by car.

Guestrooms.The hotel offers 58 studio guestrooms located on five floors with modern decor and furnishings. All include balconies with pool or sea views, and also feature fully equipped kitchenettes, satellite television, direct-dial telephones and safes.

Expert Tip.The historic city of Silves, with its castle and cathedral, is a good day trip from the hotel being 32 kilometres away.

Driving Directions:
Getting there.Taxis can be caught from outside the terminal building; typical fares are 9-12.50 EUR to Faro town, to Vilamoura 25-30 EUR, to Lagos 65-80 EUR and to Albufeira 35-45 EUR. Buses can also be caught outside the terminal building. AEROBUS provides a shuttle service between the airport and city centre daily (except Tuesday) in high season. Albufeira's Giro city bus service is regular and inexpensive.
