Getting there. Dusseldorf Airport rail station is located on a major axis of Europe's railway network, with approximately 300 trains stopping there every day. A free monorail runs between the terminal building and the railway station. From the station, catch the S9 train to Velbert Langenburg. A taxi is likely to cost about 50 EUR. Car hire is available at the airport.

Getting around. The outlying area can be explored by train and public transport or by car.
