Getting there. From the airport, take bus number 119 to Dejvicka metro station. The journey takes about 20-30 minutes, and single tickets cost 20 CZK (1 EUR). Take the metro from here and get off at Malostranska station. Walk from the station though Valdstejneska Street, towards Malostranse Square. Turn right up the hill to Snemovni Street. Alternatively, registered taxis wait outside the Arrivals hall and cost about 600 CZK (22 EUR) to the hotel. Minibuses depart from outside the Arrivals hall and run to Namesti Republiky square, in the city centre. A single fare is 90 CZK. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Prague's historic centre is compact and easy to explore on foot, as many roads are pedestrianised. There is an efficient and inexpensive public transport system, including trams, buses, metro, and a funicular railway. Tickets are available from tobacconists, stations, and many hotel reception desks, and can be used on all modes of transport. Five of the major metro stations have information offices, with schedules, maps, and directions.

Driving directions. From the airport, drive towards the city centre along Evropska Street. At the main roundabout, take Svatoviska Street. Turn left into Milady Horakove Street. After 600 metres, turn right into Badeniho Street. Turn right towards U Svateho Jifi Square and continue along Tommasska Street. Turn right at Malostranska Square, and right again into Snemovni Street.
