Located in San Cipriano, a small village in the Cavriglia region between Chianti and the Pratomagno mountains, Hotel del Lago is housed in a converted farmhouse with its own small beach, next to San Cipriano Lake. The 28 guestrooms are simply decorated with white walls and tiled floors; wooden furniture and plain fabrics complete the rustic style. All rooms have bathrooms and are equipped with satellite television and direct-dial telephones.
Guests can start the day with a refreshing dip in the lake from the hotel's private beach, before breakfast in the café bar. The hotel also offers room service, and although it does not have its own restaurant there is a taverna 400 meters away. Further amenities include a lobby with an open fireplace and television, ample parking onsite, babysitting and a 24-hour front desk. Activities including horse riding and fishing can be found nearby, although a car is useful for exploring the lovely Chianti region, with the Pratomagno mountains 15 kilometers away. Florence airport is a 55 kilometer (33 mile) drive.

Driving Directions:
Driving directions from Florence airport: Take the A1 Autostrada towards Arezzo, and leave at the Incisa exit. Take the SS69 through Figline V. no towards San Giovanni, but turn right towards Castelnuovo and right again towards Lago San Cipriano. The Hotel is beside the lake.
