Getting there. Trains run every 20-60 minutes from the airport to Palermo's central station (Stazione Centrale). Single tickets cost 4.50 EUR. A bus runs to Stazione Central and single tickets cost 5 EUR. There are also bus services to Sciacca, Ribera, Trapani, and Agrigento. Taxis are available and cost approximately 50 EUR to central Palermo. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Palermo city centre is compact and best explored on foot. The city and the surrounding areas are served by a network of buses. A car is recommended for exploring more of Sicily.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow the A29 towards Trapani. Exit at Castellammare del Golfo, and follow signs for San Vito lo Capo.
