Driving Directions: The best way to get to the hotel is by taxi, at a cost of around 40 EUR, or by private car. The island is mountainous and best explored by car or scooter. A limited bus service serves the coastal ring road. Driving directions: From the airport, turn right (south), following signs for Lefkas and Lefkada. The island is 50 metres from the mainland and is attached by a causeway and mobile bridge (the bridge opens for 10 minutes on the hour to permit boats to pass through). Cross the bridge and turn left for Lefkas Town. Go straight ahead, following signs for Agios Nikitas. At the main junction exiting the town, turn right for Agios Nikitas.
