Getting there. A direct train service runs between Pisa Airport and the city centre. A ticket costs 1.20 EUR. From Pisa, trains and busses connect to Viareggio. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Viareggio's city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot. Cycling is popular for visiting the outskirts of the city excursions into the nearby nature reserves. Public buses run throughout the city, and CPT buses operate throughout the region. A car is useful for exploring the surrounding Tuscan countryside.
