Getting there. The airport terminal is connected to the jetty by a complimentary bus. The Alilaguna boat leaves from here and stops at San Zaccaria for the hotel. Vaparettos (private water taxis) are available, but are typically very expensive.

Getting around. Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three-day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto.
