Location. Porto Azzurro is a modern hotel located in Sirmione, Italy, 50 metres from the shores of Lake Garda, and four kilometres from the centre of Sirmione. The airports of Verona and Brescia are both within 30 kilometres of the hotel.

Getting there. A bus runs between the airport arrivals area and the main train station, Verona Porta Nova. From here, take a train to Desenzano del Garda or Peschiera del Garda, both of which are 7 kilometres from the hotel. A taxi from here will take about 10 minutes to the hotel. Alternatively, buses leave every 30 minutes - disembark at Colombare di Sirmione and walk along Via Roma for about 400 metres until you reach Hotel Porto Azzurro.

Driving directions. From Verona Airport, take the A4 towards Milano, coming off at Sirmione exit.
Follow signs to Sirmione centre until you come to Colombare.
Follow signs to Localita Brema.
After 500 metres, Hotel Porto Azzurro can be found on your left, near a small roundabout.

From Montichiari-Brescia Airport (VBS):
Distance to Porto Azzurro Hotel is 20 kilometres (12.5 miles), approximately 25 minutes' drive.

Getting there. In peak season a bus service goes from the airport to Sirmione twice a day, and takes approximately one hour. Tickets are for sale outside the arrivals building.

Driving directions. From Montichiari- Brescia Airport, follow signs to Lago di Garda until you reach Castiglione delle Stiviere and then Densenzano del Garda.
Follow signs to Verona until you see signs for Sirmione and then Colombare.
Follow signs to Localita Brema.

Getting around. The best way to explore Lake Garda is by boat, and boat tours, ferries and speedboat hire can be found locally. Cable cars offer a panoramic way to view the resort, and for inland exploration, a car is recommended.
