Location. Schone Aussicht is in a 300-year-old farmstead on a wooded hillside overlooking central Salzburg, Austria, three kilometres from the city centre. The lakes and mountains of the Salzkammergut region are eight kilometres away, and Salzburg Airport is five kilometres from the hotel. Hotel Features. Getting there. The number 2 bus runs between the airport and Salzburg's main train station (Hauptbahnhof) every 10 minutes. Single tickets cost 1.80 EUR. A taxis straight to the hotel will cost around 15-20 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Salzburg's city centre is best explored on foot. The city is served by an inexpensive tram and bus system, and there are numerous cycle paths. Driving is not advised for visitors, and cars are not allowed in some areas of the Old Town.
