The H Top Pineda Palace is a modern hotel situated 25 metres from the sandy beach in the seaside resort of Pineda de Mar on the Costa Maresme, 45 kilometres from Girona. Opened in 2004, this seven-floor hotel features 192 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which are furnished in a modern style with wood furniture and tiled floors. As well as the fitness facilities on site, guests have free use of the health club at the Royal Star hotel in Lloret de Mar, with a gym, heated indoor pool, hot tub, plunge pool, sauna and Turkish baths. The beach is right in front of the hotel and offers plenty of opportunities for water sports. For golfers, discounted rates are available for golf and pitch and putt greens including the PGA Catalunya golf course. Girona Airport is 35 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 35 minutes. Barcelona Airport is 55 minutes away and the distance is 79 kilometres. Driving Directions: From Girona taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall and the fare is approximately 60 EUR. There are also buses to the resort. The bus takes 90 minutes and costs 5 EUR. From Barcelona Airport a taxi will cost approximately 75 EUR. Trains also run direct from Barcelona airport to Pineda del Mar; journey time is around 100 minutes and the cost is 4 EUR. Driving directions: From Girona Airport take the main road N-II in the direction of Barcelona and then towards Pineda de Mar. From Barcelona Airport take the AP- 7 highway in the direction of Girona up to Granollers then the freeway to Mataro. Take the C-32 highway in the direction of Calella. Exit the highway and take the main road N-II towards Pineda de Mar.
