Getting there. Taxis from the airport cost around 25-30 EUR to the hotel. There are additional fees for motorway tolls and extra luggage, and fares are more expensive at night. Gare St Augustin station is 500 metres from the terminals; trains run from here to Gare de Nice station. An airport shuttle bus service (number 99) also runs from the airport directly to the train station. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Nice city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot, particularly the seafront and Vieux Nice. Parts of central Nice are pedestrianised. Buses operate within the city centre and along the Cote d'Azur. Driving is not recommended within the city, and taxis are expensive.
