Built in 1858 as a home for Baron van Brienen, and renovated in 2005, the Hotel des Indes is located opposite the Lange Voorhout Palace Museum in The Hague. The 92 guestrooms feature modern and antique furnishings such as red glass wall hangings and patterned glass. All include satellite television, Internet connections, minibars, and safes. Meeting rooms are available for business meetings or parties from six to 100 guests, and wireless Internet access is available in public areas throughout the hotel. Nearby attractions include the Lange Voorhout Palace Museum opposite the hotel, and the Mauritshuis Museum 800 metres away. Amsterdam Schiphol Airport is 45 kilometres from the hotel, around 45 minutes by car.

Driving Directions:
There is a railway station in the terminal's central hall, under Schiphol Plaza; direct trains run to Amsterdam Centraal Station approximately every 15 minutes. Schiphol Travel Taxis are available from outside the arrivals hall. Public buses also run regularly to Amsterdam and other cities. The easiest way to explore The Hague is by tram.
