Location. The Marriott Dalmahoy hotel is located in a manor house six miles from the centre of Edinburgh, Scotland. The Scottish Agricultural Museum is two miles from the hotel, and Edinburgh Zoo is four-and-a-half miles away. Edinburgh International Airport (EDI) is three miles from the hotel. Hotel Features. The grand manor that houses the Marriott Dalmahoy hotel was built in 1725, and is surrounded by 1,000 acres of woodland. There is complimentary parking on site.

There are hop-on, hop-off stops for city bus tours throughout central Edinburgh. Black cabs are available from the streets. The historic centre's cobbled streets are best explored by foot. Driving directions. From Edinburgh International Airport: Join the M8 towards Edinburgh. Exit onto the A71 to Kilmarnock. The hotel is on the A71, west of Heriot Watt University.
