Location. The Hostal Mar y Huerta is a whitewashed and modern low-rise hotel set opposite the Es Cana beach and less than one kilometre from shops, bars and the local hippy markets. Ibiza Airport (IBZ) is 30 kilometres away. Hotel Features. Palm trees and white sun loungers line the pool area, which has an open-air bar at one end - the beach at the other. Guests can hire scooters and bicycles close to the hotel with which to explore the island. Hostal Mar y Huerta Restaurant serves a buffet of cold continental dishes at breakfast and hot international dishes at dinner.

The nearby beach provides a range of Water sports, including water-skiing, scuba diving and snorkelling.

Guestrooms. The 157 guestrooms are spread over two floors with no lift. All are simply decorated and have tiled floors and balconies furnished with patio furniture; some have pool views. Safes can be rented at reception. Room rate is half board, including buffet breakfast and dinner each day.

Driving Directions: Getting there. Taxis are available from next to the terminal, and cost around 20 EUR to Santa Eulalia. A bus service also runs hourly to Ibiza town (1 EUR). The best ways to get around Ibiza are on foot or by taxi. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy parts of the island. One of the best ways to get around the island is by bicycle or scooter, both of which can be rented nearby. There are also regular ferry crossings from Ibiza to Formentera.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow signs to Santa Eulalia, and then to Es Cana - a further two kilometres away.
