Location. The Nettuno Hotel is located in Bologna, Italy, in the northern part of the city within 1.5 kilometres of Centregross, eight kilometres from Bologna airport and 10 kilometres from Bologna city centre.

Expert Tip. Meat is big in Bologna. Made with beef, Bolognese sauce (or ragu), is perhaps the most well-known dish, but pork is a big hit over here too. Cotoletta alla bolognese, a cutlet covered with prosciutto and cheese is a very traditional dish, while cold cuts can be enjoyed everywhere. Look out for prosciutto from Parma, salami from Felino, coppa from Piacenza and also zampone, a stuffed pig's trotter.

Distance to the Nettuno Hotel is 8 kilometres, approximately 15 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Every 15 minutes, the ATC Aerobus runs to the city centre. The journey takes 20 minutes and costs 4.50 EUR for a single ticket. Taxis can be found in front of arrivals and cost about 18 EUR to the city centre and 25 EUR to the hotel. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Bologna is mostly pedestrianised and is compact, with many sights within walking distance of each other. An efficient bus system serves the city. Driving is not recommended in the city centre, and it can be difficult to find parking.

Driving directions. From Padua, exit at Bologna Interporto.
After the pay-toll turn right.
At the first road crossing head in the direction of Bologna or Centergross.
Go straight ahead for two kilometres.
At the roundabout go straight on and follow the road for 1.5 kilometres.
Turn left into hotel's road.
From Milan, from Florence or from Ancona get onto the Bologna ring road and exit at n.6 (Castel Maggiore).
From there follow the signs to the hotel.
