Location. Roomz Vienna is located six kilometres from the centre of Vienna, Austria. The landmark Stephansdom cathedral and the Jewish Quarter are both within seven kilometres and the wine-growing region of Grinzing is at a 17 kilometre distance. Hotel Features. Getting there. A non-stop express train (CAT) departs from the airport to the City Air Terminal every 30 minutes. The journey takes 16 minutes and a single ticket is €9. The S-7 S-Bahn suburban train also connect the airport to Vienna city centre and various U- Bahn (underground) stations. A single ticket costs €6. Alternatively, buses are available to the city centre, Südbahnhof and Westbahnhof railway stations, Bratislava and Budapest. Taxis cost around €30 to the city centre. All prices subject to change.

Getting around. Much of the centre of Vienna can be easily explored on foot. Vienna has an extensive integrated public transport network of U-Bahn and S-Bahn trains, buses and trams. The system is inexpensive, efficient and reliable. Taxis are expensive and can be hailed in the street. The nearest train station is Gasometer, 200 metres from the hotel, trains take 10 minutes to the city centre.
