Reviews for Royal Ettrick Hotel
I have to say I was quite dissapointed with the service at your hotel. Me and my partner stayed for 4 nights and not once in the time we stayed did our bed get made or the linen changed. Dirty glasses were still left on the hospitality tray and the soap wasn't replaced after we had used it. There was some good points with the hotel and that was the lively bar and the food in the restaurant was excellent. But agian there was a down side in the restaurant and that was the fact that me and my partner had to get ourselves knifes from the cupboard and fill our coffee mugs up our selves and a few other guests had to do the same. The waitresses at breakfast didnt seem to care if the guests were happy or not. I really feel that in some ways the hotel was very much unfinished. For the prices you charge I didn't feel that it was worth the money. Even when we left on the last day nobody checked us out. We could have had an unpaid bar bill or restaurant bill. Me and my partner were very dissapointed and unfortunatly will not be staying at your hotel again.
