The San Miguel Park/ Esmeralda Mar is whitewashed resort in the hills of Ibiza's largest conservation area, next to San Miguel port and 250 metres from the beach. The 84 air-conditioned apartments are simply decorated. All include balconies or terraces, satellite television, and CD and DVD players. Driving Directions: Taxis are available from next to the terminal; typical taxi fare to the hotel is 29 EUR. A bus service also runs hourly to Ibiza town (1 EUR). From there another bus runs to Puerto San Miguel, the nearest stop to the hotel. The best ways to get around Ibiza are on foot or by taxi. A car is recommended for exploring the less touristy parts of the island. Mopeds can be hired in most resorts. There are also regular ferry crossings from Ibiza to Formentera. Driving directions: From the airport follow the directions for Santa Eulalia. Turn left after five kilometres and follow signs for San Miguel. At San Miguel turn right towards the Puerto de San Miguel. The port is four kilometres from here. Turn right 300 metres before the beach, cross the bridge and the hotel is 100 metres on the right.
