Location. The Santa Ana is located in Palma de Majorca, Spain, adjacent to Cala Major Beach and within 500 metres of Marivent Palace, summer residence of the Spanish royal family. The centre of Palma is five kilometres from the hotel. Hotel Features. The eight-storey Santa Ana is a modern white beachside property. The onsite outdoor pool is surrounded by palm trees and served by a poolside bar. The hotel's lobby is decorated with antiques and features a television.

Half-board accommodation includes buffet breakfast every morning. International dishes feature on the restaurant's menu, while drinks, ice cream and light snacks are available from the snack bar.

The Santa Ana's conference facilities can accommodate up to 60 people and are equipped with Internet access (surcharge).

Expert Tip. The Byzantine mosaics found in Palma Cathedral predate both the present structure and the Arab mosque that the cathedral replaced. Inside, a sculpture by Antoni Gaudi hangs from the ceiling.

Driving Directions: From Palma de Majorca Airport (PMI): Distance to the Santa Ana is 14 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.

Getting there. Taxis wait in front of the Arrivals hall, near Gate D, and fares are approximately 15 EUR to the city centre. Buses number 1 and 17 run every 15 minutes to the city centre, and stop at the port and Paseo de Majorca. Single tickets cost 1.80 EUR. Prices are all subject to change.

Getting around. Palma and the local resort centres are best explored on foot. Buses run throughout Palma, and serve many villages and towns on Majorca. Trains link Palma to Inca and Soller. A car is useful for exploring more of the island.

Driving directions. From the airport, follow the motorway in the direction of Palma and Andraitx. Exit the motorway at Cala Major. The hotel is located on the beach.
