The Flybussen no.86 bus runs to the city for NOK 45 and stops at the Scandic Hotel Tromsø. A taxi to the city centre costs around NOK 110. The city centre is compact and most shops, restaurants and tourist attractions can be reached comfortably on foot. Local blue 'Trombusses' serve the wider area; timetables are available at kiosks and from bus drivers.
