The Scandic Kalmar Väst is a modern hotel with Scandinavian-style interiors, situated in the western part of Kalmar, three kilometres from the town centre. This six-floor hotel features 148 guestrooms, all of which are decorated in a Nordic style with wooden floors, and include satellite television with pay movies, Internet connections, hair dryers and trouser presses.
After a day's sightseeing guests can unwind in the heated indoor pool or relax in the sauna, while the kids are kept occupied in the playroom. Buses run in accordance with flights to and from Stockholm. They leave the airport shortly after arrivals, and leave the city centre 45 minutes before departures (approximately SEK 25). Taxis are also readily available.
