Comments for Stanley Hotel Hotel/Motel
I have stayed at The Stanley three times, and each time was a fascinating experience. It's the hotel where Stephen King wrote "The Shining" and it certainly lives up to it's reputation as a famous "haunted hotel." In all fairness, we did stay in room 217.... A quite lovely antique hotel with great views, and a story, for sure. We met Anne Rice in the bar one evening!
